Château Villemaurine also produces a Second Wine, called Les Angelots de Villemaurine.

This wine comes from a selection of specific terroirs located in the epicentre of the Saint-Emilion appellation, in the heart of the clay-limestone plateau.

Just like a Grand Cru Classé, Les Angelots de Villemaurine is given the same care and attention, both in the vineyard and the cellars, as the First Wine. This growth displays harmonious balance, intensity of aroma and good length on the palate, as well as delicious finesse, delicacy and elegance.

Blend: 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc.

The wine displays a deep colour with very suave fruit, lovely freshness and round tannins.
