Second wine of Château d’Issan, featuring fruit from younger vines, elegantly crafted in the Margaux style.

Blend: Approximately 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot.

Aging: Matured in French oak barrels for 14–18 months, with about one-third to half being new oak depending on the source.

Vintage conditions: Benefited from a wet winter and spring, followed by a hot, dry summer and ideal ripening leading into harvest. Yields were moderate, producing small, concentrated berries with thick skins.
