Bodegas LAN was founded in 1972 and takes its name from the three provinces of the Rioja wine region: La Rioja, Álava, and Navarra.

Their estate is anchored by the Viña Lanciano vineyard — 72 hectares nestled in a meander of the Ebro River — considered the soul of LAN, where old vines of Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Graciano, and Garnacha thrive in stony soils.
At the winery, LAN is known for combining tradition with experimentation: they rigorously select oak barrels (French, American, Russian, and hybrid styles) to balance fruit and structure in their wines.

Under the leadership of longtime Technical Director María Barúa, LAN continues to forge a modern identity while respecting its Rioja roots and terroir.
