This is round and compact with vivid acidity and a light phenolic edge to it. It has a floral character with fresh orchard fruit and stones. Medium-bodied and nervy with a chalky finish. Outstanding depth. 70% Semillon and 30% Sauvignon.
Blend: ~70% Sémillon and ~30% Sauvignon Blanc.
Nose / Aromas:Pears (Bosc / Golden Delicious), orchard fruit, crisp apple.
Citrus elements (lime, lemon zest), citrus punch.
White flowers, fresh herbs/green grass / light grassy notes.
Mineral / chalk / salinity undertones. Some light umami or sapid character.
Palate / Texture:Medium-bodied, vibrant acidity, good freshness.
Juicy mid-palate.
Straight, focused texture with outstanding length.
Good tension; finish tends to be mineral / pithy / crisp.
