IWSC 2014 Silver
BRUT PRESTIGE is a champagne that is distinctive in the eloquence of its refinement throughout the sensory journey; a genuine encounter with delicacy and an invitation to linger over dinner with your guests.
The first nose is a bouquet of flowers in which aromas of acacia, buttercup, wallflower, orange blossom, heady white rose, and hawthorn, gently rounded off with notes of brioche and peach.
Aerating the champagne adds to the pleasure, with notes of mirabelle plum, grilled almond, quince tatin, raspberry, roasted pineapple, orange marmalade, passion fruit, pistachio, hazelnut, jasmine, caramel and nougat.
The first encounter in the mouth is smooth and fresh, with silky and creamy effervescence.
The champagne develops a fruity, pulpy and velvety texture, underscored by a hint of beautifully integrated lemon and orange acidity. The mid-palate is orchestrated by sandy limestone minerality, which brings frankness, sea breeze salinity and length on the palate, with an outstanding rocky, fruity and floral resonance. The blending of the two grape varieties is total, deploying this union on the palate in a chiselled and permanent, repetitive way, like an echo of the depth of our marine terroir with coastal waves constantly caressing the shore. The light, sea-breeze, saline and floral finish complements its smooth, tasty fruity substance.
